All our contracts are for 12 months. We never want our clients to feel trapped into lengthy terms they can’t get out of. We like to think that our exceptional, personal client service and our high-level expertise and accuracy will keep you renewing with us time and time again!

But if you’re looking for ongoing HR advice, support and resources available to dip into anytime, you’ll be looking at our HR outsourcing packages. Our friendly team will be more than happy to chat with you in more detail to work out the best option to achieve your goals.
This depends on many factors. Our packages are bespoke and tailored to your needs, meaning the cost will be very much driven by the services you require. Support can be from as low as £150 per month on our entry-level retainer support package.
They should contact your dedicated HR contact to discuss the issue. From there, we will agree on the best course of action to help, which may include liaising with our technical, payroll or recruitment teams to ensure the issue is resolved as efficiently as possible.
Yes. For some of our clients, we act as an additional resource that works seamlessly beside their internal HR team as one department, not as a replacement. The benefit of this setup is that during quieter periods when extra resource is not needed, the client simply does not engage us, meaning no back and forth of hiring and laying off permanent staff.
Yes. At Vero HR, we offer a range of foundation service delivery models that can be combined with other HR services. This allows you to create a bespoke HR service model – whether you need just one area outsourced or the full suite for end-to-end employee lifecycle management. We’ll also work with you to find the best method to deliver your services to suit your budget.
Yes, we can work with you to create bespoke HR documentation for your business, including employee handbooks and contracts, plus any communication that needs to be sent to your staff on your behalf.
We can. Vero HR offers expert HR consultancy if you need support for a one-off project or urgent issue. Our team is here to assist with specialist (or more general) HR matters, providing additional support and knowledge to your in-house team.
We can work with you to find the best delivery, whether you need extra resource during a busy period or have an HR issue that requires independent HR support, such as a complex grievance.
Payroll Services
The way we do it is very similar to having an in-house payroll professional, but with the backup of the wider team to cover absence or leavers. For clients that also use our integrated HR software, there is minimal client involvement as employee data (such as holidays and sickness) is seamlessly transferred to payroll. And, of course, you maintain complete control and authorise any payments before they are made.
The main benefit of outsourcing your payroll to a specialist like us is cost. Vero Pay delivers the same level of service as an in-house payroll team, but at a much more affordable price – especially for smaller to medium-sized businesses.
You’ll still have access to experienced payroll professionals, your team will still be able to enjoy the very latest self-service tech – but you won’t have to worry about the up-front cost of assembling your own payroll team, keeping them up to date with training, or costly fines for non-compliance.
A managed payroll service is an outsourced service by another name. All payroll details are processed from the information you provide, including pension assessments. And as we operate with HMRC Agent status, tax code changes can be sent directly through to our payroll teams from HMRC.
All RTI communications are sent on your behalf, and as we are one of a small number of Bacs Approved Bureaus in the UK, we can securely manage Bacs payments for salaries, HMRC and pension providers.
We think so. We have a wide knowledge of different sectors: private, public and not for profit. We have the knowledge that goes with running large, complex payrolls and pension schemes, for example, within the public and education sectors.
This is dependent on the size and complexity of your business and at what point during the tax year you would like to go live. We approach all payroll transfers with our project management methodology to ensure there’s a seamless transition to our service. We will also undertake trial runs before the first live run.
We offer an integrated HR and Payroll software solution that gives employees, through the self-service functionality, the ability to update personal details at any time. This is automatically pulled through to the payroll system. Our digital solution also minimises the risk of keying errors through intelligent form field validation for items such as bank account details.
This depends on your requirements. The options available are by email, either password protected or using encrypted software, or they can be uploaded directly to our HR self-service system. We can still issue paper payslips if you wish, but we encourage clients to use the digital options, which are much more secure and cheaper!
Yes, it is stored on our server and within a secure cloud. To obtain BACS accredited status, BACS undertake a rigorous audit on Vero Pay, which includes a review of our infrastructure and data security. Every team member undertakes training on cyber security, money laundering and GDPR annually.
