Our History
Vero HR began in 2005 with a simple setup: a laptop, a phone and a clear vision. Inspired by a business plan written in Vero Beach, Florida, we set out to redefine HR outsourcing with a personal, people-first approach, and a service accessible to small to medium-sized businesses without a large budget.
Our first fully outsourced HR client came on board in 2006 and remains with us to this day. From those early days of word-of-mouth growth, we have evolved into a trusted HR partner supporting tens of thousands of employees across the UK.
In 2019, we moved into our own purpose-built office and rebranded as Vero HR, staying true to the values that have driven our success. Today, we are part of the Omny Group and continue to grow, offering a comprehensive range of people services that bring together everything you need – including HR, benefits, health & safety and legal expertise.

Meet Mike Kealey
Our Founder and CEO
Hi, I’m Mike, Founder (alongside my wife, Shirley!) and CEO of Vero HR. Having spent over 30 years in HR, mostly in FMCG manufacturing, logistics and after-sales service, I’ve seen firsthand how the right people practices can transform an organisation.
Over this time, I’ve worked across a range of industries, including 8 years at corporate HR Director level including a European based role, before deciding to take the leap and build something of our own. Today, I’m proud to lead an incredible team of HR professionals who share that same commitment to delivering tailored, personal and effective people solutions.
At Vero HR, we’re all about taking the stress out of HR for our clients, acting as a trusted partner who’s just as focused on business success as we are on looking after their people. With multiple award wins and high client satisfaction levels, it’s been a fantastic journey so far and I’m excited for what’s still to come.
